"Racing cars require exceptional cornering performance and stability, which rely on a high-performance wheel bearing unit.


Our version, called X-tracker, has a double row angular contact ball bearing arrangement. The outboard row has a larger diameter and contains more balls than the inboard row. Its asymmetric design increases load carrying capacity and operational life and raises camber stiffness above that of symmetrical hub units.


Improving camber stiffness allows the brake rotor to tilt less during cornering, which reduces brake calliper piston knock back. This allows the driver to brake later and reduce lap times on the track. The small inner ring is retained with orbital forming, so the bearing will stay in preload under heavier loading, for a longer service life."
